This pack adds monochrome white assets to what is otherwise a gaudy colored collection of packs that favor stone textures and gold leaf. The bulk of the assets are brand new, however the walls are bleach-laundered versions cherry picked from Architect’s Packs #1 and #4. Technically, the assets are light grey so that when you add lighting they whiten without burning your retinas. Made for Halloween, this pack features 5 prefabricated mausoleums that were built using assets from several of my packs and given an eldritch finishing touch. This map is the eldritch variation of Galen’s dining room. We notice that the wondrous machine is gone, replaced by a cold void within which luminous unworldly tentacles writhe. Our visit is unsettling, and the three course meal with wine pairing, served by ghostly apparitions, does not bring us comfort – the rich food is like ash in our mouths. All this can sadly happen over a weekend, if you unwittingly rent your home to an Unseelie.
