Make Pattern Hole

Adds feature to make a “hole” in a Pattern.

Makes a “hole” in any Pattern on the same layer and in an overlapping location.
The “hole” can be made in the Pattern Tool by holding Alt and drawing a Pattern shape.
An existing Pattern can be converted to a “hole” in the Select Tool.
Multiple Patterns may be created where a single polygon for the new Pattern shape can not be created.

Limitations & Caveats

Multiple new patterns may be created.
Occasionally the pattern may go invisible for some shapes. It can be made visible again by editing the points of the pattern slightly.
Patterns made with my Colour or Edge Blur mods will not have their properties duplicated if new patterns are created by this mod.
