The Helios Scanning Project is capable of mapping distant lands and alien worlds. This project file, locus codename Frostfall Citadel, is the second in the Helios series. Surveilling this subzero region has discovered an unusual heat signature indicative of rocketry. Gather the hotshots, clad them in their Halo suits, and drop them at the base of the peak – and mind the treacherous prevailing winds.
This is a versatile, region-scale, asset pack suitable for many game settings (fantasy, modern, scifi). And while not specially packaged for other uses, the images can be easily extracted and used in tabletops, such as Roll20.
The Helios Project Icarus Vale Map Set for Dungeondraft and Wonderdraft includes:
Dungeondraft assets:
- 5 high-resolution (2K) regional maps in 8 color variants – perfect for setting a series of encounters or even an entire module
- 8 variants include ground cover, snow, Feywild, scanner blue, green, yellow, and spectrum. All are provided as patterns and the first three are also provided as terrain
- 15 crosshairs objects in 3 styles and 5 color variants, including a colorable
- 1 crosshairs light
Wonderdraft assets:
- The 5 ground, snow, and Feywild map variants – without baked in water and rivers
- 5 matching height maps (these are great for use in starting any Wonderdraft map)
- 1 black water texture
- Crosshair symbols, including a colorable version
The maps are 90% seamless and depending on your uses, the seams may be more or less evident. A 2048px map covers 8 Dungeondraft grid squares.
