From ink stains, blood splatters, coffee rings, water damage, tears, burn marks, wear marks, and erasures, each element has been carefully mimicked or extracted from scanned historical documents for unparalleled realism. The result? Fantasy maps so authentic they could be mistaken for ancient relics rediscovered after centuries. Use the sample color version to add wear marks directly to your symbols, creating maps with a truly aged and timeless look. These resources are designed for Wonderdraft, but easily usable in other softwares like Inkarnate (Wonderdraft assets are just .png files).

Installation Instructions

Manual Installation

After you have downloaded the zipped file unzip it into an empty folder.

You will have a new folder: ‘ stains and distressed ’. Locate your Wonderdraft assets folder.

Copy and paste ‘ stains and distressed ’ folder into your Wonderdraft assets folder.

Mythkeeper Installation

When Mythkeeper is launched click on the ‘Install from local file’ icon at the top. Locate “ stains and distressed.zip ” and click on Open.

Next just click on the Install button.
