Adds options to apply colour effects to (non-“Colorable”) Objects and Paths: “Tint” the asset, equivalent to applying lighting effects or custom colours as can be applied to Patterns. Can be used to make the asset partially transparent. Make the asset monochrome colourable preserving the brightness of the underlying asset. Make the asset monochrome colourable (correcting the brightness levels). This most closely mimics how most “Colorable” objects work at the moment. Convert the asset to monochrome and flatten the brightness to pure white preserving the alpha levels and then apply a colour. Perhaps useful for colouring water paths.

Description
Colourable Objects and Paths
Adds options to apply colour effects to (non-“Colorable”) Objects and Paths:
- “Tint” the asset, equivalent to applying lighting effects or custom colours as can be applied to Patterns. Can be used to make the asset partially transparent.
- Make the asset monochrome colourable preserving the brightness of the underlying asset.
- Make the asset monochrome colourable (correcting the brightness levels). This most closely mimics how most “Colorable” objects work at the moment.
- Convert the asset to monochrome and flatten the brightness to pure white preserving the alpha levels and then apply a colour. Perhaps useful for colouring water paths.
Limitations & Caveats
Changing the underlying brightness of large assets may take some time the first time on each map this done.
Using the Opacity mod at the same time will likely result in some odd behaviours as it affects some of the same properties that this mod uses.
