Fantasia Archive
Full Spell List for D&D 5E

— UPDATE 09/15/2022 —
I have added in content that became available after the initial publish date. That includes content from Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons, Strixhaven, and Icewind Dale.
——————————–

I said I would put out a full spell list, and here it is! This project adds in all of the spells and cantrips that are currently in print books in Dungeons and Dragons fifth edition. The spells are organized into folders inside the Spells/Magical Groups section in Fantasia Archive, with each level of spell having its own folder. Each spell has a fully formatted document (although there were some tables that I was unable to implement, the spells that have those have a link to where you can find the table online) and the project comes with 8 tags, those being the 8 schools of magic. Once Elvanos (sole creator and owner of FA) releases a build with the capability to mass remove tags, I will make a new release with tagless versions of all of the projects contained herein.

There are two zip files that you can download, one containing the full spell list project itself (DnD Full Spell List) and the other containing each of the individual projects that have a specific level of spells (DnD Individual Spell Lists). Choose one or both, whatever you need. There are also versions that contain dunamancy, which is in a sort of middle ground of official and not official content. If you just want the full project with all of the spells (including dunamancy) grab the Full Spell List With Dunamancy file.

All of the content outside of the Dunamancy spells belongs entirely to Wizards of the Coast.

How to Use

Make sure you backup the project you’re working on by exporting beforehand!

once you have unzipped the file or files you want to use, while inside the project you want to add the spells to, use the “Merge” functionality (Project > Merge another project…) and then select the folder you are trying to add. As far as I know, you are currently unable to merge multiple projects at once, so start with one and then go from there.

Compatible with Fantasia Archive version 0.1.5a.

If you have any questions about the program itself, please refer to the FA discord server (https://discord.gg/JQDBvsN9Te). If you have comments or questions about this file specifically, I can be found on there as @Cheesy.

A special thanks goes to DoctoProfo for being the first person to make a template project like this and because I based most of this description on their formatting. Make sure to check out their work as well!

Fantasia Archive
FA Monster Manual
This template for Fantasia Archive adds all 450 creatures of the D&D 5e Monster Manual to your project. Each creature will have fully HTML descriptions containing stat blocks, plus optional tags for creature type and challenge rating.

HOW TO USE

As always, backup any project you intend to make large changes to.

This zip file contains two folders: “With_Tags” and “Without_Tags”. Each of these contains one text file called “races.txt”.

While working in the project you wish to add this template to, use the “Merge” functionality (Project > Advanced Project Tools > Merge another project…) and select the folder to be added.

  • With_Tags – adds tags for challenge rating and creature type (humanoid, undead, etc.)
  • Without_Tags – omits tags (less cluttered hierarchy tree, possible performance improvement)

If you use the With_Tags version and experience performance issues, you may see better performance (and less clutter) with the Without_Tags version. If you decide you want to use the Without_Tags version instead, be sure not to add it to a project you already added the With_Tags version to, go back to the backup you should have made.

Compatible with Fantasia Archive version 0.1.7+

Special thanks to ianjsikes for json-to-homebrewery and to trentm for markdown2, both of which were very helpful for generating formatted descriptions.

Fantasia Archive (or FA for short) is an offline, free software that was created as a reaction to the lack of proper offline world-building and writing tools as most of such programs focus almost entirely on just writing instead of on the world-building and all intricacies it brings. This is what sets FA apart: The focus on the structure of one’s works and relationships of all parts of it to each other instead of solely focusing on the writing experience itself.
To achieve this, FA comes with the following set of features:
  • A broad set of predefined document types ranging from obvious choices like Chapters and Characters to details like Languages and Currencies.
  • A large set of predefined, unique informational fields for each document type, which should cover a vast majority of the world-building needs of most authors.
  • A fully integrated two-way relationship support across multiple fields and post-types. This means that if you for example mark character A as a friend of character B, then character B also gets automatically updated as a friend of character A.
  • Both automatic and custom ordering of documents.
  • Custom coloring of documents.
  • Full Tag support.
  • Infinite hierarchical support in the object hierarchical tree, which translates to infinite, user-defined custom categories or any hierarchical depth.
  • A proper, fully serviceable dark mode that isn’t just an afterthought.
  • Sophisticated, powerful, and very detailed search system for documents.
  • Offline import/export functionality for your projects, which allows for portability between different instances of the app on multiple machines or sharing with friends.
  • Multiple document tabs for easy access to your current work.
  • Proper keyboard support for PC/Laptop users along with support for custom, user-definable keybindings.
  • Customize-able UI via program settings to suit your needs the best.

NOTE: FA is currently in the early beta version! I am still working on multiple things that will be added in future releases.
