Description

Import Watabou One Page Dungeon

A tool to take the JSON output of the Watabou One Page Dungeon Generator and draw the core features into Dungeondraft for further change and editing.

  • Walls
  • Columns
  • Floor (created as Patterns)
  • Wall shadows (created as paths)
  • Doors (as Portals or Objects)
  • Stairs
  • Columns (and column shadows as objects)
  • Lights (created procedurally)

Limitations & Caveats

You should always save and reopen a map after importing a new dungeon JSON as some assets act oddly until this is done.

Water and “notes” are not supported in the current version.

Seems to work great for me – Love it.
For those unsure about how to install this mod,
    Update Dungeondraft

Create a folder to hold mods anywhere on your computer and name it whatever you want. I put it in “my documents” and called it “dungeondraft_mods”.

Unzip the ImportWatabou.zip file into that mods folder, making a ImportWatabou subfolder.

    Start Dungeondraft

Click the “Mods” button on the top bar and tell it where that folder you made is.

Restart Dungeondraft (not sure this is needed but I did).

Open a new map without using the map wizard.

The 4th control down on the left hand menu (looks like stars) is Effects, click it.

Watabou import is in that submenu, click and point it at your .json file.
