[Citi] Sci-Fi – 01 – Fortress City
This asset pack contains:
– 554 objects (including color variations)
– 4 patterns
– 4 terrains (same as patterns)
– 17 paths (contains all walls)
– 10 walls
Almost each object has a colorable version, and an alternative color variation.
This asset pack was made using a new style we’ve made called “Citi”, not to be confused with “City”. The idea here is that assets are twice as small and less detailed allowing for more abstraction during the mapping process. Here the assets are about 40ft per 256px. The asset pack itself was designed to be compatible with Inkarnate’s watercolor cities style — one for which I have a big soft spot in my heart. Hopefully, we’ll make many more assets in this style to fill out all those missing little niches.
A simple example of a “fortress city” that can be made using the asset pack mixed with Inkarnate’s Watercolor cities style.
This was a map made with the Early Access version of this asset pack. Since EA more assets have been added, some removed and some tweaked. The roads are from the Modern City Pack.
