I designed this pack to get around some issues with shadow paths in Dungeondraft. Sharp curves in DD will cause the shadow to overlap itself, causing “spikes” in the curve. By using curved shadow objects it’s possible to avoid this.
This path contains paths, patterns and objects in 4 shades (25%, 50%, 75% and 100%), and 5 sizes. The objects come in quarter circle, half-circle, three-quarter circle and full circle to give the user flexibility in adding shadows to curves.
11/25/2020 Update:
- Added double sided shadow paths for adding ambient occlusion at the junction of walls and floors.
- Added colorable gradient objects as a test to see if people find colored shadows useful. If they do, I will add more variety in size and shape.
